Families joined Touretteshero on the Starship Biscuit and imagined how a more inclusive future could look.

Saturday 16th May 2026
Journey to a Better World invited families to join us on the Starship Biscuit- a playful space where you could imagine an inclusive future together and create a better world.
This joyful, inclusive event was open to space travellers of all ages and had lots of opportunities to get involved! You could: beam aboard using our bubble teleporter, build your own control panel with all the buttons you could possibly need, set a new course from the captain’s chair, and create your own planet for our solidarity solar system.
The experience, created by London-based arts company Touretteshero, provided a magical and safe space for both disabled and non-disabled children and their families.
This event took place in the Sessions space at Bridlington Spa
This was a relaxed event
There is a wheelchair accessible chill-out space
There is step-free access to the venue
There were accessible toilets available
The nearest Changing Places toilet is located on the South Promenade, off South Marine Drive, next to the RNLI building approximately a five minute walk from the venue.
For full venue access information visit the accessibility page on the Bridlington Spa website
