Sunday 13th July, 1pm - 8pm
Tadcaster Community Sports Trust (Magnets)
The Summer Fields Festival day begins with a motor-free 'Wonderful Wheels' community parade. Decorate your bikes, scooters, skateboards, pushchairs, prams and even wheelie bins. Prizes to be won on the day for the boldest, wildest, wackiest creations!
For more info and to sign up to the parade contact: kirsty@tadcasterandrural.co.uk
The Wonderful Wheels community parade will journey through Tadcaster (with rolling road closures and safety stewards in place) arriving at the festival site in time for the start of the programme at 1pm.
There will be an unattended parking area to leave your parade wheels or creations on site, but these must be taken away with you when you leave.
There are loads of free activities for kids (and adults!) to take part in. Groove to the music, take part in workshops for all ages, bring a picnic or browse the food vans, catch some brilliant theatre or simply chill out with friends and family and enjoy the vibe.
Random bag searches may be in operation and you will not be allowed to bring your own alcohol or glass bottles onto site.
Accessible toilets and a chill-out space will be available. Sorry assistance dogs only.
Full programme schedule and more access information can be downloaded below.
