Youth Justice Case Manager
Grace is a Youth Justice Case Manager for North Yorkshire Youth Justice Service, with 13 years experience in the role, working with young people in the justice system in some of the most vulnerable parts of the county, with a wide range of complex needs. Prior to this, she worked for a Substance Use charity with young women at the Women's Community Project (a Comic Relief funded post). Grace has studied Relational Centred Counselling and is passionate about holistic, child-first, and trauma informed approaches in her work.
Grace completed a Degree in Theatre in Leicester in 2004 before developing an interest in working with front line services and then, specifically, working in the justice system. Grace is pleased to be able to use elements of her Theatre and Arts interests and background in her work, and, more recently, by becoming part of the ARCADE board.
Grace worked alongside ARCADE for the Scarborough Stories project in 2022, where young people from the Youth Justice Service were involved who, ordinarily, may not have had access to creative projects. This was a proud moment.
Outside of work, Grace can be found swimming in the North Sea, walking the dog, cooking, and attempting to keep house plants alive!
