Martha is a Scarborough based film programmer, artist and researcher. She currently works as a features programmer and outreach officer for Leeds International Film Festival and founded and is co-director of Scarborough Film Festival. She is also a researcher at the Institute of Social Justice, York St. John University, working on projects around climate engagement via creative methods. As a practicing artist, she co-set up Photo Scarborough to explore the history of photography in the town, and inspire contemporary responses, and has exhibited or ran workshops around sustainable photography or eco-analogue practices around the UK.
