Young people are in rehearsals in preparation for their public performance in June 2024, of smash-hit musical The Addams Family. Based on the 1930s macabre comic, it has inspired countless films and animations, most recently brought onto teenager’s radars last year by Netflix show Wednesday.

Rehearsals are underway and fully cast, but there are still opportunities to work behind the scenes doing stage management and prop making for our creepy musical production of The Addams Family. If you are aged 12-18, live in or around Bridlington and would still like to get involved, drop us a line!

Join Spotlight Youth Theatre to meet new people, have fun and learn new skills. No prior experience required - all are welcome!

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Spotlight Youth Theatre is led by West End musical performer and theatre director Alex Weatherhill, whose performance credits include international tours of Chigaco and Fiddler on the Roof.

Alex is an experienced director and youth leader and their Scarborough Theatre Company production of Betty Blue Eyes has just finished a nearly sell-out run at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, and earlier this year Alex’s very own musical Happily Ever After…? debuted to a rave reception.
