Young Women's Creative Company
In partnership with Bridlington Spa & ERVAS
APRIL - JULY 2022
We’ve started a new creative group for young women and all femme identifying people aged 16-25 in Bridlington and we’d love for you to join us.
We do weekly workshops on Wednesday’s involving writing, performing and just being creative!
Our first project is called ‘The Bunker of Zion Tour’, a CTN project. This is the first CTN project with ARCADE and will bring a joyous and colourful celebration of Zimbabwean culture and ancestry to selected venues nationwide, including Bridlington.
The Bunker is a centre for joy, a space for hope, a meeting place. Inside, an underground collective of artists tell stories through live music, dance and song. Outside, this is forbidden.
You don’t need any previous experience. You just need a positive attitude and a willingness to have a go (and maybe a little bit of information about your ancestors!). It’s a friendly, welcoming, non-judgmental environment. And it’s FREE to take part.
We meet Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm at the Community Hub, Marshall Avenue, in Bridlington. Although we started in April, we always welcome new participants.
If you want to come along and would like some more information, email email@example.com
We hope to see you there!
